Let the Adirondack Railroad help you discover the beauty of the Adirondacks by transporting you to Old Forge. The Utica to Old Forge trip is truly unique experience and has several features that set it apart! Travel through forests, over rivers and streams! While you’re on the train, visit our café car and try the light and hearty fare as you ride the rails on the Adirondack Railroad!
Please be advised that passengers do not get off the train in Old Forge (Thendara Station).

Diamond Class & Parlor Class Cars are handicap accessible however; they are NOT wheelchair accessible.

Please be advised this trip is wheelchair accessible for standard size chairs. The maximum door opening width is 26 inches wide. Please make sure to measure your wheelchair before you make a reservation. Restrooms on the train are not wheelchair accessible, however there are wheelchair accessible restrooms in all of our stations.

Overland Trail - 1950's style lounge car that includes a one of kind bar and a barber shop. Seating varies in this car from vintage lounge chairs, booth style with tables and loveseats.
Pacific Trail – 1950’s First Class Coach Cars with vintage first class seating. Please note that there are no tables in this car.
